The Architecture stories
As I said in the previous article, "Architecture is not about Space, but about Time", new social media and technologies are the main actor in this new era, to communicate, broadcast, and inform people. In a world more and more connected, new topics about Architecture appeared. With a bigger world and an unlimited source of information, knowledge can be easily transmit between people.
In Instagram, some creators are posting photos to let us discover some unthinkable and uncharted places. Describing their post, we learn more about the history of the building, the style of architecture (its purpose, its location...). And then in the comment, subscribers can debate or ad an information about the post. Which create a real feeling of discover, and value to the post, about the building. This kind of post exists in a lot of sector. Of course in Art (Films, Street Art...), but also in other domain like in Football, or for the learning of a language.
In Unsplash, a website where we can share, comment, and give pictures' right freely, we can also surf freely and explore a lot of content. Inside this website, you can truly (trust my experience) be absorb and loose the sense of time, while surfing and finding beautiful pictures about the architecture of countries (it happened while creating the next article).
